Yes I experienced culture shock when I moved to another country for my studies. At first I felt confused and uncomfortable because of the different language, lifestyle and social habits Sometimes I also felt lonely and stressed.

To overcome this shock I tried to stay open-minded, learn about the local culture communicate with new people, and keep contact with family and friends. Over time, I adapted and became more confident in the new environment.​

I would describe culture as an iceberg. The visible part above the water represents things we can easily see, such as language food, clothes, and traditions. The larger hidden part under the water represents beliefs values attitudes, and ways of thinking. This metaphor is appropriate because culture is not only about visible customs, but also about deeper ideas that influence people’s behavior and communication.

My behavior patterns are influenced both by my personal values and by the environment I live in. My values, such as respect honesty and responsibility, guide the way I treat other people and make decisions. At the same time, the environment around me, including family, friends, university, and society, also affects my behavior and attitudes. Living and studying in another country has helped me become more adaptable, open-minded, and understanding of different cultures and perspectives.

belong to different cultural groups such as my national culture, my student community and my age group. As a Moroccan student studying abroad i learned values like respect hospitality and family importance. Being a student also connects me with people who share similar goals and challenges.

I felt proud when sharing my culture and traditions with others. However there were also difficult moments when I felt different because I was a foreign student in another country. These experiences helped me become more open-minded and adaptable.
