| Speaking about e-learning it brings many things to our minds and what we discussed about. We think that theres so much good things but also bad things that would make it worse. Advantages of e-learning: "Saving money, saving time, more focus" We picked this advantage because its the best thing in e-learning, it takes usually so much less time to do things, like just opening your laptop instead of going to school which could be far away from your apartment. Time you are saving you can do all the other schoolworks right away or you have more free time after school making things you really love. The freedom of that learning method gives much possibilities to your time scheduling. You have also much more time to sleep in the mornings so you can start the lesson just right after you have woke up and start studying with more refreshed feeling that extra sleep brings. Disadvantages of e-learning: "Communication problems" The number one is not getting so much support from your classmates and contacting teacher in online class feels much harder than in class face-to-face. Then there are the all technical problems which could take a lot away from your real studies and then the time just goes thinking how would we solve this technical problem instead of learning new things. Also being in online class like in Zoom or via Teams in your home makes losing your focus many times because of your friends texting, having to eat something or something else because the teaching is not so participating and if it is, some people will just be quiet. | When it comes to e-learning, there are many advantages and disadvantages. After discussing about this matter within our team, we have come up with the following reasons. When Covid happened, e-learning was not a thing. However, givent these unfortunate circumstances, people had to get creative with their teaching and learning methods, and as a result, they shifted to e-learning. We have noticed that some big problems with the people that did their degrees via e-learning methods, did not manage to get real life experience about worklife. At the same time, it is possible that many students cheated on their exams, and as a result, the learning part might have remained at a minimal level. It also made it harder to pass exams for those people that learn best by doing and by having real life examples. We considered that these are all factors that make it harder for companies to hire qualified people that know how to their job. Finally, probably the biggest disadvantage was the fact that students and professors missed out on the social part of the teaching and learning experience. At the other hand though we noticed how e-learning students became more flexible and how they learned how to better juggle studying and learning with their daily life. For students who have to work, alongside going to university, or students who have children, it is more efficient to do e-learning. At the same time, e-learning made it possible for people who cannot attend the class or for those who feel like they have missed on some important things, to go over the recordings and study at their own pace. We think the biggest advantage of e-learning is accessible anytime. If our universities had e-learning lessions parallel with in-person lessions, we could just easily open the videos, download the materials and not miss out on any information giving during the class, especially when we come back to uni after a week of the Confident project :)
The biggest disadvantage is the lack of interaction. Even the smallest interaction during a lecture such as eye contact, or go to the board and write some thing there, can encourage the students to come to the class, build the interest in them in the module. We found it quite depressing during the corona time where we had intensive online classes.

| Advantage of e-learning: The flexibility that comes with e-learning is one of the best advantages that we can appreciate and praise it for. Having the ability to complete courses on your own schedule allows you to adopt other projects on the side. This is great for those who like to complete courses quickly, as well as those who like to take their time and really delve into the subject. Personally, we have had similar situations in that our personal life's schedule was very unpredictable. Taking an e-course was beneficial in that we were able to fit it into our schedules whenever there was time available. Of course, the negative side to this could be that the e-course could be completely forgotten and or saved for the very last minute with little time to complete all the tasks.
Disadvantage of e-learning: One of the main disadvantages with e-learning is definitely communcation problems. This tends to occur more so in e-learning courses that require live online lessons that must be attended. Post-pandemic, it is evident that in-person instruction and learning is far more beneficial for students and teachers. Personally, we have seen how easy it is for miscommunication or lack of communication is more persistent when strictly dealing with e-learning. During our first year of University, we were subjected to online learning for one period due to high cases in our city. We witnessed the dynamics change dramatically compared to how they were when we were all on-campus. Often times we found that it is really hard to join lectures because too many people had to attend on-line, via e-learning platforms that get overly crowded. Also, because of wi-fi issues, you can miss very important exams or assignments.

From the beginning of this way of learning, we noticed both disadvantages and advantages, all creating a new stage in our lives. As an advantage, the comfort of home, more sleep, not having to travel to college, to move out of the city or even out of our country. We woke up right at the 8 o'clock class, 5 minutes before it started. But as in any other situation there are disadvantages. One of the disadvantages was the fact that we were not paying attention to courses and seminars, we were distracted by all kinds of things. And the communication between us and the teachers was weak. But with all that, it was a unique period.

| We have widely used e-learning while studying online during the first year of university, when the pandemic was in full force. So the most obvious advantage is that it was accessible anywhere. We consider that the biggest advantage of e-learning is the possibility to have access to any information you want from anywhere in the world if you have a stable connection to internet is a life changing thing for the education system. This changes a lot and gives a lot of opportunities when it comes to planning your schedule. Where you are attending a test or a meeting doesn't matter anymore because anything is online and you can do it from anywhere in the world. In our opinion, one of the biggest disadvantages were that the number of frauds is significantly higher, fact that doesn't motivate the students to learn properly, which encourage superficiality. This is one of the main reasons why students wanted on-site lessons, so that they could learn more effectively and stop being superficial while studying.
So, e-learning in our opinion is balanced in its advantages and disadvantages and it is just a matter of priorities and personal tastes if someone wants to use it or not. But definitely every person has to know how to use e-learning, because it is becoming more and more important every day. |

| Reflecting on my e-learning journey, I've found it to be a transformative approach to education, particularly during periods when traditional, in-person learning wasn't feasible. One major advantage that stands out is the autonomy regarding scheduling. Having control over when and how I access course materials allowed me to tailor my learning experience to my most productive hours, balancing other personal and professional responsibilities. On the flip side, a disadvantage I've encountered is the potential for delayed feedback from teachers. While e-learning platforms often provide automated grading for certain assessments, meaningful, personalized feedback from teachers can sometimes take longer than in face-to-face interactions. This delay can be a hurdle when trying to quickly understand mistakes and improve performance in subsequent tasks. Overall, my experience highlights the importance of recognizing that the perception of e-learning's advantages and disadvantages can vary significantly based on individual learning preferences, self-discipline, and the support provided by the learning platform.
